What color should i paint my walls?

I was wondering what color to paint my living room. The room is about 15 ft. x 15 ft. The carped is a blueish greenish color with shite in it. The trimming is white, and the furniture is dark chocolate brown. the room is fairly smallish. There is only one window and the window is about 4 feet wide and 5 feet tall, and it faces towards the sun when the sunrises. I was wondering what color we should paint the room. Right now it is a pale light baby green color and we hate it. We want to make the room more cozy instead of airy and light and fresh. we want it to feel warm, comfy, cozy. The pillows we have are dark brown with a blueish- greenish print on it with a hint of oranges. kind of like peacock feathers. we want something that will look good with the carped we have. the baseboards aren't natural wood, they are just painted white and are really simple. if we need to repaint them a different color to match the wall color we are wanting, would it look normal? we were thinking beige but we arent for sure. we are also wanting new lamps. so what kind of lamps would we want to be looking for. some pictures would help if possible. just please try to keep it nice and cozy, warm, comfortable, and a little romantic if you can. sorry, but any suggestion will hep a ton! I really want hard wood floors but the people i live with liek the carpet we have now becasue it is brand new since we moved in about a year ago.
