Help with minecraft modded server?

i have a server and its on craftbukkit with some plugins. but i used to use just the normal hmod server and i liked it better. but since the last upgrade to minecraft it doesn't let you use it. the person who made the old one doesn't make it anymore. so is there a normal hmod out, i have seen people use it recently after the upgrade. my minecraft is on beta 1.2_02. thank you very much for all the help, need more information tell me.
