Why wont my pictures print on microsoft word 2007?

Whenever i try to print a picture, a blank sheet prints, and whenever i try print preview the page is always blank even if theres pictures on the document, it works when i print out words or word art but it will not print pictures, i really want to know how to fix this, i hope you can help me, thankyou.
